What is Ibu Sambal?
Ibu Sambal is a versatile chilli base slow-cooked for 4 hours using
only dried chillies, garlic, and shallots. It serves as the flavour
foundation for a wide variety of dishes — so you never have to fry
chilli paste from scratch again.
Simply add ginger, galangal, belacan (shrimp paste), salt, or sugar
when cooking your favourite recipes such as:
